Sarah Samson was raised in NH and spent a lot of her youth engaged in causes related to domestic violence and homelessness.

She graduated from Boise State University in 2004 with a BS in psychology and began working as a Psychosocial Rehabilitation Specialist with children with emotional disturbances. Sarah graduated from Northwest Nazarene University in 2014 with her Master’s in Social Work with an emphasis on addictions and trauma.

She began working for the Ada County Idaho Drug and Veteran’s Courts in October 2014 and ran several trauma and anxiety-specific groups during her time there. She began working as the lead therapist for the Ada County Mental Health Court program in January 2020 and transitioned into her role as Therapist Team Coordinator in June 2023. She also runs several trauma specific groups as well as helps facilitate the Mental Health Court Alumni group with the group members.
